Vinny & Stephanie met at The Ritz-Carlton Saint Thomas, US Virgin Islands where Vinny a born & raised US Virgin Islander would make fine beach delicacies. Michelle his sister would supply the sweet tooth cravings all the while Stephanie ran between the kitchen and continuously engaging with guests.
In the fall of 2014 the founders moved to Virginia Beach from the US Virgin Islands to start Carib Shack in order to fill a cuisine void while shaping a niche in the fast casual dining market with fast & fresh Caribbean food. Our keys to success is a focus on employee & guest engagement, product excellence, community involvement, and financial performance.

Is a Caribbean-American born at the heart of America's Caribbean: Saint Thomas, US Virgin Islands to Benny from Manhattan, New York and Maria from Trinidad & Tobago. Vinny would watch his mother cook from a very young age and began cooking professionally at 15 when his math teacher asked if he wanted a summer, winter and weekend job. From there he went on to work for 8 other restaurants including, The Ritz-Carlton until at 27 years old founded Carib Shack in 2014 upon moving from the US Virgin Islands to Virginia Beach.
From "The Green Mountain State" of Vermont, Stephanie met Vinny while working together at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas for 2 years. Stephanie brings restaurant experience as well as management experience that Stephanie over the years in the food & beverage industry.
